PRIMARY EYECARE
Primary eye care includes a comprehensive vision and eye health examination. This examination is designed to detect a wide range of eye health problems from glaucoma to retinal disease.
COMPUTERIZED TECHNOLOGY
To assist the evaluations for eyeglass prescriptions, peripheral vision, intraocular pressure, and eye health, we incorporate computerized technology.
MEET OUR STAFF
A group of experts who have distinguished themselves as innovative leaders in their chosen disciplines. As part of an academic medical center, our doctors have access to advanced diagnostics, treatments, and research that may not yet be widely available elsewhere.
Dr. Shah is originally from a small town in Northeast Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Kent State University in Spanish Literature and her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Her areas of special interest include diabetic eye disease, and contact lenses. Recently, she has become more passionate about slowing the progression of myopia (nearsightedness) in children.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and children. She also volunteers with the school PTO.

Simi is an optometric technician and one of the friendly faces who greets you at the check-in desk. She studied nutritional science at the Ohio State University and hopes to go to optometry school or get her masters degree. She loves working here and getting to learn more about optometry!
Dr. Morgan Garczyk grew up in St. Clairsville, OH. She is a double buckeye, earning her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree in 2013 and Doctor of Optometry degree in 2018 from The Ohio State University. She is passionate about providing eye care to underserved populations and previously worked at a federally qualified health center for 6 years. She fills in on an as needed basis at Perceptive Eye Care, but typically sees patients at a private practice in Grandview. She enjoys hiking, traveling, gardening and spending time with her 2 dogs and husband.
Salma grew up in the Columbus area. She recently graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology. Salma aspires to be an Optometrist herself and is learning more each day about the field.
